“The best gift you are ever going to give someone — the permission to feel safe in their own skin.”― Hannah BrencherI am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 12 years of clinical experience, and I am currently pursuing certification as an Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS). I understand how past experiences and societal messages can deeply influence self-worth and overall life satisfaction. I am passionate about helping clients discover the beauty within themselves and in their everyday experiences.
I strive to provide a warm, personal, and supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. I take a client-centered approach to therapy and believe in meeting clients where they are, working collaboratively to identify goals, build resilience, and strengthen internal resources in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
I specialize in working with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, body image concerns, body dysmorphia, gender dysphoria, disordered eating patterns, and trauma. I have particular experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, mothers and those navigating the postpartum period, and individuals healing from religious trauma. My work is grounded in affirming, trauma-informed care that honors each client’s unique identity and lived experience.
In my clinical work, I draw from a variety of evidence-based and integrative approaches, including elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Expressive Arts, among other counseling theories. I tailor treatment to each individual, recognizing that healing looks different for every person.
