“I believe the greatest gift I can conceive of having from anyone is to be seen by them, heard by them, to be understood and touched by them” – Virginia Satir

Chiedza MashavaHello! My name is Chiedza, but you can call me Chi Chi. I’m a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and a recent graduate from Nova Southeastern University, where I earned my master’s in Couples and Family Therapy in 2023. With experience working in school-based settings, community mental health, and private practice, I support clients across diverse backgrounds as they navigate life’s unique challenges. I’m currently working toward full licensure in Florida, bringing dedication and compassion to every session.
In therapy, I create a safe, inclusive space where you can explore your needs and uncover patterns in your life and relationships. My work is rooted in family systems and evidence-based techniques, and I specialize in women’s issues, life transitions, dating & relationship challenges, and self-esteem. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, grappling with self-doubt, or seeking personal growth, I’ll support you with empathy and practical tools to empower you along the way.

Outside of therapy, I’m a lover of drama-filled reality TV, trying new cuisines, and discovering new places to travel! I believe that, just like in life, these experiences keep us grounded, curious, and open to growth.

Therapy is a journey we navigate together at your pace, focusing on what matters to you. I’m here to listen, support, and encourage you as you embrace a more fulfilling and balanced life. I value transparency and strive to create a safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. Together, we’ll explore your experiences and find healthier paths that resonate with your journey.
