RMFTI, Murray Method Level I

Hello! My name is Chiedza, but you can call me Chi Chi. I’m a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and a proud graduate of Nova Southeastern University, where I earned my master’s in Couples and Family Therapy in 2023. I’ve worked in school-based settings, community mental health, and private practice—supporting clients from diverse backgrounds as they navigate life’s unique challenges. I’m currently working toward full licensure in Florida and bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to every session.

In therapy, I create a safe and inclusive space where you can explore your story, gain insight into your relational patterns, and strengthen the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. My approach is grounded in family systems theory and evidence-based practices, helping clients understand how past experiences influence present dynamics and choices.

What I Work With

I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate transitions, strengthen relationships, and develop a deeper sense of clarity and confidence.

Individual Therapy (ages 14+)

  • Managing anxiety, stress, and self-esteem concerns
  • Healing and rebuilding after divorce or separation
  • Exploring family-of-origin and relational dynamics

Couples Therapy

  • Improving communication and deepening emotional intimacy
  • Navigating commitment and/ or preparing for marriage or partnership
  • Strengthening connection through shared goals and life transitions
  • Gaining clarity and direction through discernment counseling

Family Therapy

  • Strengthening parenting and co-parenting relationships
  • Resolving family conflict and improving communication
  • Adjusting to transitions such as divorce, relocation, or blending families

Whether you’re navigating change, seeking clarity in your relationships, or working toward personal growth, I’ll meet you with empathy, insight, and practical tools to help you move forward.

Outside of therapy, I’m a lover of reality TV, trying new cuisines, and discovering new travel spots. I believe that staying curious—both in life and in therapy—keeps us grounded, open, and growing.

Therapy is a collaborative journey, and my goal is to help you feel more connected, confident, and fulfilled as you move through life’s seasons.
