Rheana Palmer
"’ Have I gone mad?’ I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are." -Alice in WonderlandStudent Intern
Welcome! I am truly glad that you are here.☀️
I am Rheana, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern studying at the University of the Cumberlands. I believe you are not broken and nothing about you needs ‘fixing.’ You carry the strength, wisdom, and ability to achieve your goals within you.
I have always been told that I am the friend people turn to when they want clarity and truth. I speak with compassion and believe that shining light on what has been avoided is where the journey begins. I’ve found Existential Therapy, which explores personal meaning, responsibility, freedom, and authenticity, to be a powerful starting point in my personal style. However, counseling is unique because you are unique, and this is what excites me the most. I enjoy blending different approaches to create a tailored experience for each individual. You deserve it!
In our work together, you can expect natural charisma, warmth, humor, and personal empowerment throughout the process. We will honor your past and look toward the future while remaining rooted in the present moment using clinical tools, insight, and confidence to create a foundation for lasting growth. Whether you are working on a relationship with yourself or others, exploring life transitions, or seeking clarity, I am here to meet you exactly where you are.
I work under the supervision of Arielle Hobbs, LMHC, and am honored to support the vision of St. Augustine Counseling while growing in my own profession. It is a privilege to join you as you discover your inner strength and the bright light that shines within.
