“There is no greater gift we can offer another than to truly see them—to meet them with patience, compassion, and the kind of understanding that says, ‘You are not alone here.’” - unknown authorSydni Jones
My name is Sydni, and I’m a graduate student pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Jacksonville University. I’m originally from a college town in Indiana and currently completing my clinical internship here at St. Augustine Counseling.
I take a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy and genuinely care about building strong, supportive relationships with those I work with. I’m passionate about helping young adults navigate life transitions, supporting couples who want to strengthen their emotional connection, and walking alongside individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, or self-esteem challenges. But I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every client is unique, and I strive to show up with authenticity, empathy, and curiosity—creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. My intuition and deep care for others guide me in offering thoughtful, personalized support that honors your individual journey.
Under the supervision of Arielle Hobbs, I plan to continue to grow my clinical skills and deepen my presence as a therapist. I see the counseling relationship as a collaborative process—one that leads to greater self-awareness, acceptance, and well-being through authentic connection.
