“There is no greater gift we can offer another than to truly see them—to meet them with patience, compassion, and the kind of understanding that says, ‘You are not alone here.’” - unknown authorRMHCI, RYT-200
Hello! My name is Sydney and I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida. I graduated from the University of Central Florida, where I received my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023. Since then, I’ve worked in a variety of settings such as community mental health, schools, and private practice. I offer a holistic approach that helps quiet your mind, ease tension in your body, and give you space to truly reconnect with yourself. I enjoy supporting teens and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. I am specialized in a variety of areas including (but not limited to) anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, OCD, relationship struggles, substance use, grief, stress, LGBTQ+ concerns, and any intense emotions that feel difficult to manage.
As a holistic therapist and certified trauma-informed yoga teacher, I integrate mind–body approaches to help you find relief and feel more grounded in your daily life. My work goes beyond talk therapy by incorporating somatic techniques, mindfulness practices, and evidence-based strategies to support your healing on both a physical and emotional level. I am skilled in a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. My therapeutic style is highly goal-oriented. Together, we will regularly review your goals, use assessments to track your progress, and ensure that therapy is meeting your specific needs.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel uncertain or overwhelmed at first. My goal is to make this process feel safe, supportive, and approachable. Reach out today for a free consultation and let’s work together to build a healthier, more fulfilling future!
